I've worked out in this gym for 2 whole years, it was good initially but has degraded poorly since then. Equipment: Equipments are basic and can be matched by any 6K-7K yearly membership gyms nearby. Half the machines are making sounds because of regular use and no proper maintenance, while weights are either broken or loose. Similar is the case with cycles and treadmills. Facilities: They have steam and shower and well yes a changing room which is always full of stinky trainer's clothes also the door of it won't close and it's not repaired in 2 years. Steam stops working every once in a month. Trainer: Here's the worst part of this gym, it's trainers. Have my word, you won't come across such lazy, unprofessional, rude and arrogant trainers ever. You ask them for watching your back or supporting you through a heavy set, they'll straight forward deny. You complaint about them, they'll not listen instead will say "Jaa na yaha se fir mat aa idhar workout karne". If you write a mail to powerhouse, all the trainers will start ignoring you. You ask them for stretching post workout they'll either deny or say 'Khud kar lo, independent bano' or if in case they did, it will leave you in more pain or potential injury maybe. Gym closing time is 11 P.M. but they'll start shouting at you from 10:30 P.M. like 'aye gym bandh karo, abe bahar niklo, hogya timepass abi ek din mei nai banegi teri, jaa ghar jaakar timepass kar'. Vibe: Well, having the trainers and staff like that will already kill the vibe and you won't feel like going there. Whatever left will be killed by the slow, old bollywood romantic tracks they play in gym. That's such a turn off. Value-for-money: Only reason why I stayed here for this long was because it was cheap. but lately the situation got way too worse and I'll not continue here even if they give it in half the price.

3.0 Anup Shenoyin 7 minutes I was wondering how come a brand like Powerhouse was giving away their yearly membership for a dirtcheap price and wanted to try it out. I paid a visit and my question was answered in the first ten minutes itself.... though the area is smaller overall, its quite airy and bright. Personaly I like the ambience like that. The equipments are okay. But positive points end there. The trainer/reception guy was least interested when I entered and dint even bother to get off the seat let alone show me around. I can imagine the amount of efforts they would bother to put to motivate or train the members there. First of all they need to trained to talk to people in a decent and socially respectful manner. "tu tadak se baat karna" should be the last thing they do at a professional level. Probably they come from such regional or downtrodden background or maybe their upbringing is such that they are taught to speak that way by their families. Yet they should realise that's not the way you speak to potential customers/members/clients. Maybe that's why this nice property has almost turned into a rundown gym. The brand owners should definitely look into this matter else soon they should look for alternative business plans/careers. I'm not joining here even for half the price that the offering now.
