I am glad that i got smita mam and yagna mam as my first belly dance gurus.I had a great time and fun learning belly dance from two beautiful teachers,as they taught me everything from small moves to small expression,stage presence.Both of the tutors are humble and so much graceful that one would stop dancing and look at them:-) which i did :-) its worth the money and am looking forward to again learn under them.Thumbs up!!!!to both smita and yagna mam and would recommend Y&S to all belly dancing lovers.

I enjoy my learning with Smita and Yagna. They have always motivated students and believed in sharing their knowledge. Along with precise dancing techniques we (students) also learn theory and history of belly dancing as well. They have immense patience which has assisted us in smooth learning. Would surely recommend Y&S to anyone who desires to learn belly dancing..

About Y - S Dance Academy

Y&S Dance Academy is founded by Yagna and Smita who strongly believe that Belly Dancing is a primitive source of self healing and has the ability to increase your self esteem.

Belly Dance has always been celebrating the feminine form in all shapes and sizes. It means love, freedom, magic, acceptance and not Erotica.

Both Yagna & Smita have been practising and performing the art of Belly Dance since 2006. They have attended Belly Dance festivals in Egypt, New York, Istanbul, China and Singapore where they have learnt from International instructors .They have conducted workshops and dance classes in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. They have performed at the Kala Ghoda Festivals 2011( Mumbai) , Jashn-e-Banjara Belly festival (Delhi) and at Hipnosis Belly Festival (Bangalore).
