Premanand Yoga

Premanand is the monastic name of Praduman Mishra, who went to an ashram in Gorakhpur district, India . He learnt about Yoga and Meditation and decided that this yog mantra should be spread all over the world.

He was born in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, named Gorakhpur, he belongs to a middle class family. He showed spiritual inclination from an early age of 15,stated that his goal in life is to show that through yoga one can achieve a series of physical and mental exercises,that aim to keep the body healthy. The mental techniques include breathing exercises or ‘pranayama’ and meditation or ‘dhyana’ to discipline the mind

Thousands of people have been benefited by incorporating yoga taught by the Guru himself, which he simply blends into one's everyday life. He is one of the yoga gurus in India, who cures his patients by using simple tools like pranayam and yoga asana in order to treat them in a holistic way, like for instance traditional yoga which is a new thought pattern very similar to Dhyan.

He started Yoga Ashram in the year 2000 in Mumbai. He is the person,who alone started this Yoga Ashram and took it to the large extent .Not only this, for Manava Seva and to make environment healthy he want to spread this Yoga Mantra to each and every person.

He says, that yoga is a continuous process. So keep practicing! The deeper you move into your yoga practice, the more profound are its benefits.Yoga practice helps develop the body and mind bringing a lot of health benefits yet is not a substitute for medicine. It is important to learn and practice yoga postures under the supervision of a trainer.
