What FITNESS CENTRES Are Doing

Preventive measures & scanning

  • Temperature & Oxygen Saturation screening and sanitizer dispenser at entry point
  • Arogya Setu app checked for all members and staff personnel
  • Only asymptomatic persons (including staff) and people using face covers / masks are allowed in the premises
  • Proper crowd management in the common areas, parking lots, corridors and in elevators

Sanitisation of premises & staff training

  • Availability of sanitisers, disinfectants, personal protection gear and oximeters for customers & staff
  • All areas and equipments are disinfected using clinically approved disinfectants
  • Cleaning and disinfection of equipment is be done after each session before it is used by the next member
  • Staff management & training to ensure implementation of social distancing norms

Robust social distancing measures

  • Gym / studio workout area is planned based on 4m2 per person
  • For air-conditioning / ventilation, guidelines of CPWD implemented
  • Equipments (including cardio and strength machines) are placed 6 feet apart to ensure distancing

  • Washroom & locker facility available with social distancing norms

Capacity management & batch-wise pre-booking

  • Limited number of staff and members allowed on gym floor & workout areas
  • 15-30 mins intervals between slots to avoid overlap between members arriving & leaving
  • Operating on batch-wise capacity for gym sessions or group classes
  • Personal training conducted ensuring 6 feet distance & proximity norms
  • Pre-booking of slots to ensure no overcrowding & social distancing

What You Should Do

Don’t forget your mask

Use of face covers / masks is mandatory at all times, while working out you can use a visor

Carry your own essentials

Carry your own water bottle, towel and sanitiser. Also a separate pair of shoes preferably

Wash up before & after workout

Wash your hands (for 40-60 seconds) before and after workout & clean the equipment used

Practice social distancing

Maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet as far as feasible and avoid overcrowding in common areas

Follow respiratory etiquettes

Cover your mouth and nose while coughing / sneezing with a tissue/ flexed elbow and dispose off used tissues properly

Self-monitoring of health

Installation & use of Aarogya Setu app along with self-monitoring and reporting any illness
