1.    Easy Pose or Sukhasana

Let’s start by the easiest yoga pose and it’s called the ‘Easy Pose’. This pose helps you eliminate anxiety, lengthen your spine and also relieves any physical and mental tiredness. Start by sitting cross legged with a straight spine. Focus on your breath and stay in this pose for 5 to 8 minutes.

If you suffer from any shoulder, hip or lower back issues, then this pose will be your best bet to get rid of all such pains! Start by sitting with your hips resting on your heels, inhale while you do this and exhale while slowly bending forward to rest your torso on the thighs and forehead on the mat. Stretch your arms forward and place them down with your palms facing down. Hold this pose for 30 seconds, come back to the starting position and do it again. Repeat this 3 to 4 times.

3.    Standing Forward Bend or Uttanasana

This pose will instantly make you feel better as it improves blood supply in your entire body. As a result, you feel less stressed and anxious. If you are suffering from indigestion or headaches, give this pose a try and see what it does to you. Start by standing with your feet together and arms resting on the side. Now raise your arms up while inhaling and then slowly bend your torso forward while exhaling. Try to touch your knees with your forehead and the floor with your palms. Hold this position for 30 seconds and come back to the starting position. Repeat this 8 to 10 times.

4.    Legs on the wall pose or Viparita Karani

For days when your legs or feet hurt, this pose will do wonders! Since it’s an inversion, it drains the lymphatic fluids which helps in improving blood circulation.
