STRENGTH & CONDITIONING AT ALPHA 7 SEAS THEIR MISSION IS TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR PERSONAL GOALS, BE THEY ON THE FIELD, THE COURT, THE MOUNTAIN OR JUST KEEPING UP WITH THE KIDS AND GRANDKIDS. THEY SAFELY BUILD A FOUNDATION OF MOVEMENT SKILLS BEGINNING WITH A CLIENT'S BODYWEIGHT ONLY, AND PROGRESSING TO LOADED EXTERNAL OBJECTS SUCH AS BARBELLS, DUMBBELLS AND MEDICINE BALLS.

THEIR PROGRAM IS INTENTIONALLY STRATIFIED INTO BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED CLASSES WHICH ALLOW US TO MEET THE NEEDS OF ALL OF OUR CLIENTS. USING THIS METHOD, THEY SLOWLY INCREASE BOTH MOVEMENT COMPLEXITY AND EXERCISE INTENSITY TO OPTIMIZE CLIENT RESULTS. THEY STRIKE A BALANCE BETWEEN PERFORMANCE, HEALTH AND LONGEVITY BY INTEGRATING SOUND NUTRITION AND SMART TRAINING.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING ---

  • BEGINNING STRENGTH & CONDITIONING -

Beginning Strength & Conditioning is their program for individuals that are new to a fitness program. This hour long class incorporates strength and skill progressions appropriate to beginners, followed by conditioning workouts of varying lengths of moderate to high intensity, rounded out with brief recovery work and stretching at the end. Their beginning strength progressions start without loading and eventually progress to increase loading and technical difficulty once your capacity to perform a given number of quality repetitions at a set weight has been met.

  • INTERMEDIATE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING -

Intermediate Strength & Conditioning is an hour long class that incorporates strength and skill progressions followed by conditioning workouts of varying lengths of moderate to high intensity, rounded out with brief recovery work and stretching at the end. Intermediate level fitness standards indicate a strength capacity that is appropriate for loading beyond bodyweight and a movement capacity that is mostly free of limitations (ie: can squat past parallel, arms comfortably reach directly overhead with straight elbows). Intermediate progressions continue to increase loading and technical difficulty while introducing more complex movements such as cleans, plyometrics, and inversions.

  • ADVANCED STRENGTH & CONDITIONING -

Advanced Strength & Conditioning is their program for individuals of a more competitive fitness level and higher technical competency. This hour long class incorporates strength and skill progressions, challenging conditioning workouts, with cool down and recovery. Strength cycles incorporate traditional barbell and dumbbell lifts, Olympic weightlifting, and bodyweight gymnastic strength training. The conditioning workouts vary in length and format, and contain more variety, heavier loading, and greater technical challenge than their intermediate conditioning workouts.

MOBILITY CLASS ---

Range of motion. We need it in everyday life to accomplish everything that we do. We are beings that squat, jump, reach, push and pull. As we do these movements throughout life, our abilities to do these can be limited. The purpose of their Mobility class is to not only improve your range of motion, but also provide you with the tools and knowledge to continue this process outside of the gym. We roll, smash and stretch our way to relieve our muscles of stress and tension. In doing so, we reduce our risk of injury and time spent in compromised movement positions, increase our capable range of motion for movement, and find the balance between stability and mobility. This class is for all levels and abilities.

FUNCTIONAL BODYBUILDING ---

Want to look good and move well? Functional bodybuilding is an approach to training that can be used a little or a lot to increase strength, correct imbalances, improve movement quality, and help you gain comfort and confidence in a variety of positions. The gym didn't have many cardio equipments infact whatever they have is of substandard quality and they don't have space to keep them so they want people to do cardio in open where there's not even a fan.

it's a good gym. however their emphasis seems to be on compound movements and body weight. There weren't a lot of traditional machine equipment there.
